Modern European cars demand precise battery registration and coding. A simple swap without coding can trigger electrical faults, shorten battery life, and leave you stranded. We do it right.
Most modern European cars use AGM or EFB batteries managed by a battery management system that adjusts charging as the battery ages. Fitting a new battery without registering it tells the car it still has the old one, and it keeps charging accordingly.
We test the battery and charging system before recommending a replacement, and fit the correct type and capacity for your car. Where a battery keeps going flat, we measure the key-off current draw to find what is draining it.

Common
questions.
The battery management system adjusts charging to the battery's age, type and capacity. Registering the new battery resets that history. Without it the new battery is charged as if it were the old one and wears out early.
Not in a car designed for AGM. A standard battery does not tolerate the repeated deep cycling that start-stop demands, and the charging profile will be wrong for it.
Not always. A module that does not go to sleep can drain a healthy battery overnight. We test the battery first, then measure current draw with the car locked to find the cause.
